Program Requirements

The MIL and Certificate programs differ mainly in the number of credits required each semester, the length of time for completion, and whether a final scholarly paper is required:

The Executive Certificate in Inter-cultural Leadership requires:

• 15-18 credit hours of course work
  
  
  • 9 credits of core courses, including 3 credits of research methods
  • 6-9 credits of elective courses
    
    
• Independent study resulting in a scholarly paper

The Certificate in Inter-cultural Leadership requires:

• 9-12 credit hours of course work
  • 6 credits of core courses
  • 3-6 credits of elective courses
