Leadership Certificate Programs

There are two intercultural Leadership certificate programs:
+ Executive Certificate in Intercultural Leadership (ECIL)
+ Certificate in Inter-cultural Leadership (CIL).

The two certificate programs differ mainly in their intensity and length of time for completion, as well as in the final scholarly paper requirement.

Executive Certificate in Inter-cultural Leadership (ECIL)
Online program of study (5 semesters, 15-18 credit hours).
ECIL requires participants to complete one course (three credits) per semester with a passing grade. Qualified students may enroll for two courses during one semester, with the instructor’s approval. Students need to conduct an independent study and write a scholarly paper. In the second semester, students apply the precepts earned in the previous semesters in analyzing a particular issue of interest, and write a paper that explores the causes, effects, and possible solutions to the issue. A successful defense, with a presentation of the accepted paper, resulted in the student graduating from the program.

Certificate in Inter-cultural Leadership (CIL) Online program of study (3 semesters, 9-12 credit hours).
CIL requires participants to complete one course (three credits) per semester with a passing grade. Qualified students may enroll in two classes during one semester, with the instructor’s approval. There is no requirement for a semester of independent study or a scholarly paper.
